Frequently Asked Question

How do I log into Moodle using Microsoft 365?
Last Updated a year ago

Starting in September 2023, Moodle now uses Microsoft 365 logins in common with most other systems in the college.

This enables a simplified approach with many systems in college using the same familiar login style.  It also enables Multifactor Authentication when required, using the Microsoft 365 Authenticator app.

Instead of putting your username and password into the boxes at the top right of the screen, you will now click on the button that says "Login with Microsoft 365".

You will then be taken to the Microsoft 365 login screen that is used for many other systems in the college.  Enter your full email address and press next.

You will be taken to the organisation's login page.
Enter your password and click "Sign in".

If your Microsoft account is flagged for Two Factor Authentication, you will need to authorise your login attempt on your mobile app.

If you are already logged into Microsoft 365 for anything else in the college - you will not need to log in again to Moodle. Clicking the "Login with Microsoft 365" button will take you directly into Moodle if you are already logged into Microsoft 365.

Initially this new login will be on the current Moodle only (https://moodle.bradfordcollege.ac.uk) but will be added to the Moodle archive (https://moodlearchive.bradfordcollege.ac.uk) over the next few weeks following the start of the 2023-2024 academic year.

As always, please direct any issues to the Moodle support team by emailing [email protected].
